Throughout the United States, low-wage, minority workers are disproportionately affected by occupational illnesses and injuries. Chronic exposure to hazardous chemicals at work can lead to serious illnesses, contributing to health inequities.
Limited-income families traditionally have had fewer resources and cannot afford the upfront costs to install rainwater harvesting systems and purchase and maintain trees. With funding from Tucson Water, we provide limited-income families loans and grants and qualify for the Tucson Water rebate.
In an effort to keep our community informed, with our partners we have developed very useful resources for you and your employees during these difficult times.
We are proud to be featured as an exhibitor in this year’s Arizona VIRTUAL Plant Festival! The Festival helps our community expand their knowledge and immerse themselves in appreciating the plants in our lives.
