Are you a housing provider or lender? During this workshop receive guidance on how you can best work with your tenants and home buyers impacted by COVID-19 in order to follow fair housing laws. You will learn about ways to communicate with your tenants, documentation for tenant assistance, key elements of a repayment plan, landlord obligations, fair lending, and how to avoid discrimination. During this workshop you will learn how sex is protected under the Fair Housing Act along with what falls under sex (gender identity and sexual orientation), HUD policies and rules, what is prohibited, examples of discrimination, and sexual harassment.
