Limited-income families traditionally have had fewer resources and cannot afford the upfront costs to install rainwater harvesting systems and purchase and maintain trees. With funding from Tucson Water, we provide limited-income families loans and grants and qualify for the Tucson Water rebate.

For those interested in receiving a rainwater harvesting loan and grant through our program, please see the following updates to income requirements:

  • Families that have an income anywhere within the chart meet the income requirements for a loan of up to $2,000.
  • For families with an income equal to or less than 100% of the Federal Poverty Level (PL) we offer a grant of up to $750.
  • For families between 100% and 200% PL we offer a grant of up to $500.
