The City of Tucson and Pima County each have a childhood lead prevention program happening now! The two separate programs are helping protect families from the dangers of lead by offering lead inspections, safe removal of lead hazards based on funding and optional lead blood tests for children. Our role in these partnership lead prevention programs starts at the very beginning by collecting referrals of qualifying families to then be processed to our contacts at the City of Tucson and Pima County for program participation. “SERI’s efforts to reduce family and childhood lead poisoning goes back 20 years. We have referred over 600 families to lead poisoning prevention programs and will continue to refer at risk families in order to create a safe and healthy environment” Ann Marie Wolf, President at SERI. Thank you to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for their grants which are allowing participating families full program services at no cost to them. Call us today at 520-321-9488 to see if you qualify!
