Participants in our 1.5-hour Solar Empowerment Workshop will gain a clear understanding of solar technology\, its benefits\, and how the program works. Qualifying households can receive grants covering up to 60% of system costs\, with additional financing options available through the Clean Energy Credit Union (CECU). Federal and state tax credits may further reduce costs\, making solar power an affordable and sustainable option. \nTo qualify\, you must own a single-family home in good condition (excluding mobile homes)\, have a roof suitable for solar panels\, be current on property taxes\, and meet HUD’s low-income limits. Required documents include a photo of your electrical panel and a recent Tucson Electric Power (TEP) bill.
